Wow, ...Thanks for letting me know about your reply! Wow, if it's your favorite series then I'll be sure to give it a shot. I'm quite sarcastic myself, so I don't think that will bother me haha
I'm actually Hindu, so I'm interested to see how the author puts her own spin on the mythology I've grown up on.
As for my reviews of The Iron Fey series, I do have reviews on Goodreads. Looking back at them, I feel like the series has grown on me because I like them better than I did when I first wrote those reviews! I would recommend them if you like urban fantasy/faery stories and are not annoyed by love triangles. Everyone looks for something different in a book to fit their liking. :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm really glad you loved The Sisterhood series!! Have you read Sisterhood Everlasting? It follows the lives of Bridget, Lena, Carmen, and Tibby when they're 30 years old. It's absolutely beautiful. I cried. Oh my, loved it so much <3Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11594130671663761044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5252207823239664322.post-50878956175255899132013-06-04T20:01:01.230-04:002013-06-04T20:01:01.230-04:00I couldn't get into Tiger's Curse.. someth...I couldn't get into Tiger's Curse.. something about Kelsey got on my nerves. I did listen to The Sisterhood for the first time last summer and loved it. Great list!

My Top TenKristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11089936646594784828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5252207823239664322.post-60142291368592996442013-06-04T19:57:50.573-04:002013-06-04T19:57:50.573-04:00I whole-heartily recommend Tiger's Curse! It e...I whole-heartily recommend Tiger's Curse! It easily made it onto my favorite series ever after reading it, and Tiger's Curse was my favorite book, although they all are great! It has an awesome mix of adventure, mythology, romance, and religion (Hinduism) which is really fascinating and I love the characters :) Colleen Houck put a lot of research into her books and I also found the imagery to be well done. The time and care she put into the making of her books really shows! In my eyes, at the very least! :)

I'm trying to think of potential cons it may hold for someone though...I've heard that some people don't like the fighting/action scenes and I'd say they aren't THE BEST (it's the part Colleen admittedly struggles with the most), but I loved the story so much that I never didn't want to keep reading. I've seen reviews where people dislike the heroine Kelsey because she's heavily sarcastic and she's insecure when it comes to relationships. For me, the sarcasm really wasn't a bother. I hardly noticed it actually so it never annoyed me. And for the insecurity, well, Kelsey has lost everyone she loves so, to me, that was entirely understandable. Although, at times I REALLY wanted to shake her for making one silly decision or another through out the series. But it was more like one of those where I wanted to shake some sense into her and give her a big bear hug at the same time haha. :)

I read it before I started the blog, otherwise I would have a review up, but I hope this helps your decision more! I'd say it deserves at the very least a fair shot :)Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11594130671663761044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5252207823239664322.post-18102702754728620352013-06-04T19:49:37.939-04:002013-06-04T19:49:37.939-04:00I haven't read any of these yet (though I saw ...I haven't read any of these yet (though I saw the movie adaptation of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants).
